PRIVACY & TERMS
Studio Renée
Effective date: October 19, 2026
We're a small interior design studio in Hood River, Oregon. When you reach out to us, sign up for our emails, or hire us for a project, you trust us with some of your information. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
If you have a question about any of this, email sam@studiorenee.co and you'll hear back from a real person.
PRIVACY POLICY
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you fill out our contact form. Your name, email address, project type, how you found us, and whatever you tell us about your project.
When you fill out one of our Facebook or Instagram lead forms. Your name, email address, phone number, project type, timing, and project location. Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) collects this on our behalf and passes it to us.
When you join our email list. Your name and email address, plus basic information about how you interact with our emails (for example, whether an email was opened or a link was clicked).
When you become a client. The details we need to design your home: your address, contact information for you and the people working on your project, floor plans, photos, measurements, budget, selections, and the conversations we have along the way.
When you visit our websites. Like most websites, ours automatically receive basic technical information such as your browser type, device, and the pages you visited. Some of our pages also use the Meta Pixel (more on that below).
We don't ask for sensitive information like Social Security numbers, and we don't knowingly collect it.
HOW WE USE IT
• To reply to you and talk about your project
• To send you the free guide or resource you asked for
• To send emails you signed up for
• To design, plan, order, and manage your project if you hire us
• To send proposals, agreements, and invoices
• To understand which of our ads and pages are working, so we spend our marketing budget wisely
• To keep our records and meet our legal and tax obligations
We don't sell your personal information. Not to anyone, not for any price.
OUR EMAIL LIST
Our emails are sent through Kit (formerly ConvertKit). When you sign up, we'll send a confirmation email first, and you're only added once you click to confirm. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it once and you're off the list.
COOKIES AND THE META PIXEL
Our cost-guide landing page (and possibly studiorenee.co in the future) uses the Meta Pixel. It's a small piece of code from Meta that tells us when someone who saw one of our Facebook or Instagram ads visits the page or signs up. It helps us:
• Measure whether our ads are working
• Show our ads to people who have visited our pages, or to people similar to them
The pixel uses cookies and similar technology, and Meta may combine this information with what it already knows about your Facebook or Instagram account under Meta's own privacy policy.
How to opt out:
• In your Facebook or Instagram settings, go to Accounts Center, then Ad preferences, and turn off ads based on activity from partners.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely.
• Visit optout.aboutads.info or youradchoices.com to opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at once.
Our main website does not currently use Google Analytics. If we add it or any other tracking tool, we'll update this page.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We only share your information with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
• Email: Kit, which sends our email newsletters and free guides
• Advertising: Meta, for Facebook and Instagram lead forms, ads, and ad measurement
• Email, documents, and file storage: Google Workspace
• Website hosting: Showit, which hosts our website and receives contact form submissions
• Design and project tools: the software we use for design presentations, specifications, ordering, and invoicing on client projects
When you're a client, we also share project details with the people building your home, such as contractors, tradespeople, showrooms, and vendors, so they can quote, order, and install. We only do this as part of your project.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep inquiry and email list information for as long as you're on our list or until you ask us to delete it. We keep client project records for as long as we need them for warranty questions, taxes, and our business records. When we no longer need something, we delete it.
HOW WE PROTECT IT
We use reputable, password-protected tools and limit access to the people on our team who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with your information and would tell you if something went wrong that affected you.
YOUR CHOICES
You're in control. You can:
• Unsubscribe from our emails anytime using the link at the bottom of any email
• Ask what we have about you and get a copy
• Ask us to correct something that's wrong
• Ask us to delete your information
• Opt out of ad tracking using the steps in the Meta Pixel section above
To make any of these requests, email sam@studiorenee.co. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it's really you before we share or delete anything. We won't treat you differently for asking.
If we're in the middle of a project together, or there's information we're required by law to keep (like tax records), we'll let you know what we can and can't delete.
CHILDREN
Our website and services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. If the change is a big one, we'll let our email list know.

Who we are. This site is run by Studio Renée, an interior design studio at 1218 Wasco St, Hood River, OR 97031. "We," "us," and "our" mean Studio Renée.
Information, not a quote. Everything on this site, including project descriptions, cost ranges, and guides, is general information to help you plan. It isn't a quote, an estimate for your home, or professional advice for your specific project. Every house is different, and pricing depends on your scope, site, and selections.
Our design services. When you hire us, our work is governed by the written design agreement we both sign. If anything on this site differs from your agreement, the agreement controls.
Photos and content. The photos, drawings, text, and designs on this site belong to Studio Renée or to the photographers and partners who created them, and they're protected by copyright. Please don't copy, download, or reuse them without our written permission. Sharing a link to a page is always welcome.
Links to other sites. We sometimes link to other websites, like vendors or social media. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Using the site. Please use the site lawfully. Don't try to break it, misuse our contact form, or send spam.
No warranties. We work hard to keep this site accurate and up to date, but it's provided as is. We can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or current.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Studio Renée isn't liable for any damages that come from using this website or relying on its general information. This doesn't change anything in a signed design agreement.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

We collaborate closely with homeowners and builders to create homes that are thoughtfully detailed, technically sound, and designed for real life.
Our work does not end at the concept.
It continues through coordination, problem solving, and disciplined execution.
The result is a home that feels resolved, grounded, and ready from the moment you walk in.
